The Role

To respond appropriately to customer enquiries and to deal with matters arising in an efficient and professional manner within agreed timescales to agreed performance targets. Key duties include:

  • Answer all incoming calls efficiently and professionally, responding to customer enquiries appropriately
  • Respond to customer enquiries and provide information about product and services
  • Deal with any customer complaints efficiently and in an empathetic manner
  • Assist with welcome calls for new customers
  • Process telephone and mailbox orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Generate sales order print runs for warehouse picking and packing
  • Check delivery information via couriers web portal and update customer records accordingly
  • Liaison with delivery couriers to resolve delivery queries / obtain proof of deliveries where necessary
  • Generate and produce sales invoices and credit notes; posting and filing of invoices
  • Record and maintain accurate customer information using the in house computer system
  • Provide and maintain exemplary levels of customer service at all times

About You

  • Educated to GCSE level.
  • Computer literate (MS Office) with keyboard skills.
  • Enthusiastic, flexible with the desire to succeed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organisational and interpersonal skills.

  • Hours - 8am - 4:30pm / 8:30am - 5pm
  • Parking on site - You need your own transport due to location
